Back To What You Love

Progressive loading and activity-specific training to get you back stronger than before.

You've tried to push through.
Now it's time for a real plan.

Living with pain has a way of changing more than just how you move.

Maybe you've stopped running because your knee never feels right. Maybe you've started avoiding the gym, picking up your kids differently, or saying no to the activities you used to enjoy. You've probably tried stretching, resting, watching videos, or even gone through treatment that never really answered why you were hurting in the first place.

You don't need another temporary fix.

At The Foundry, we help active adults and athletes understand what's actually going on, create a plan that's built around their goals, and stay with them until they're ready to return to the life they want to live.

Every visit is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You'll receive a thorough evaluation, a clear explanation of what's driving your pain, and a treatment plan that's personalized to you, not a protocol or a predetermined number of visits.

Whether your goal is getting back under the bar, crossing another finish line, playing with your kids without hesitation, or simply moving through your day without pain, our focus is the same: helping you build a body that's stronger, more resilient, and prepared for what's next.

We're here to help you get your life back.

This is Where Strong Bodies Are Forged.

Built for the way you move

Whether you're trying to stay active for life or return to competition, your goals deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach. That's why every plan at The Foundry is built around you.

Coaching a client through hip mobility work The Active Adult

You don't have to be an athlete to want to move without pain.

Maybe it's your morning workout, a weekend round of golf, pickleball with friends, hiking with your family, or simply keeping up with your kids. Whatever keeps you active, pain has started to get in the way.

You've probably tried resting it, stretching it, or hoping it would eventually go away. Maybe it got a little better. But it never really stayed better.

At The Foundry, we take the time to understand why you're hurting, not just where it hurts. From there, we build a personalized plan to help you get back to the activities you love with confidence.

Assessing single-leg balance and strength The Athlete

Getting cleared isn't the same as being ready.

Whether you're training for your next race, preparing for a season, or working your way back after an injury, you need more than a generic rehab program.

You need to know your body is ready to perform, not just free of pain.

Our rehabilitation is built around objective testing, progressive strength, and sport-specific demands, so when it's time to return, you're doing it because you've earned it, not because enough time has passed.

Frequently asked questions

The things people usually want to know before booking.

Do you take insurance?

No, we're an out-of-network physical therapy practice.

That means your care isn't dictated by insurance companies or limited by visit caps, referral requirements, or rushed appointment times. Every treatment plan is built around your goals, not what an insurance company approves.

Many patients use their HSA or FSA to pay for treatment. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we're happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. While reimbursement isn't guaranteed, many patients receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan.

How long are sessions?

We believe you should never feel rushed.

Your initial evaluation is scheduled for 90 minutes, giving us the time to understand your history, perform a thorough assessment, explain what's going on, and begin treatment that same day whenever appropriate.

Follow-up visits are scheduled for 60 minutes. While we reserve a full hour for every appointment, the exact amount of treatment time may vary depending on what you need that day. Some visits require more hands-on care, while others focus on strength progression, return-to-sport testing, or refining your program.

Our priority is giving you the time and attention your recovery deserves, not watching the clock.

Will I see the same clinician every visit?

Yes. Every visit is one-on-one with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Consistency matters. The person who evaluates you is the person who guides your care from start to finish. You won't be passed between providers or handed off to an aide or technician halfway through your treatment.

That means every session builds on the last, allowing us to make better decisions, track your progress, and adjust your plan as you improve.

Do I need a referral to get started?

No. In Florida, you can see a physical therapist without a physician referral through Direct Access.

That means you can schedule an evaluation as soon as you're ready. We don't believe you should have to wait weeks just to start getting answers.

If, during your evaluation, we determine that additional medical testing or another healthcare provider would be beneficial, we'll guide you through those next steps and work closely with your physician when appropriate.

Our goal is to help you get the right care as quickly as possible.

Where are sessions held?

We make it easy to get the care you need.

Right now, we offer mobile concierge visits, coming to your home, gym, or another convenient location throughout Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, South Miami, and Kendall, as well as appointments at one of our trusted partner clinic locations.

When you schedule your evaluation, we'll discuss the option that best fits your goals, schedule, and location.

No matter where we meet, you'll receive the same one-on-one, individualized care that's at the core of everything we do.

How many visits will I need?

Every person and every injury is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer. After your evaluation, we'll explain exactly what's contributing to your symptoms, discuss your goals, and recommend a plan of care based on your specific needs. Our goal isn't to keep you coming forever. It's to help you recover, build resilience, and confidently return to the activities you enjoy.
